The Story
Built in Huntsville. Bound for the Moon.
The Saturn V was designed and tested in Huntsville, Alabama — a 363-foot cathedral of engineering that produced 7.6 million pounds of thrust at liftoff. Between 1967 and 1973 it flew 13 times without losing a crew, carried Apollo 11 to the Sea of Tranquility, and lifted Skylab into orbit. This coin is its ledger.
